Senior Java Back-End Developer - C12 AVP - Pune/Chennai

• 8 to 12 of years of experience in Technology field and candidates from institutes like IIT/BITS/NIT/Autonomous renowned colleges in India are preferred and good to have.
• Java Back end developer with Spring-boot & Microservices experience.
• Technical strong and hands on Java developer (Combination of Big data skills with Java are good to have but not must if the candidate is willing to learn)
• Full stack experience in Angular is a plus and good to have. 
• This position is mainly for backend developer but some 20% involvement in UI technologies and 20% in Big data technologies may be required.  
• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time/estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas.
• Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and PL/SQL databases (e.g. Oracle).
• Knowledge of Unix scripting in Data load processes
• Ability to independently perform code reviews, unit and integration test case reviews
• Experience on of Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Minimum 8 Years experience on of Java1.8 or on higher version along with Junit testing.
• Knowledge of DevOps technologies (e.g., Bitbucket, Jenkin, Git etc..
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as advisor or good team player.
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. 
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
