In this role, you’re expected to:
USPB Risk and Wealth Risk CAO function is responsible for defining strategy, vision and roadmap for strong risk management for US Personal Banking, Global Wealth Management and consumer portfolios in Citi Legacy Franchises – through holistic management of consumer/retail credit risk framework components, integration and alignment across retail credit, wholesale credit and Enterprise risk management frameworks and transformation of underlying processes for both personal banking and wealth risk management including delivery of key priorities to build and scale on digital using analytics and smart automation, 360o monitoring, independent quality assurance & effective challenge of both 1st and 2nd line credit execution to assess compliance to related regulations and Citi policies. As part CRSE function, this role will be Regulatory Risk Intmd Analyst partnering with Risk/Business SMEs across 1st and 2nd Lines of defense to define and develop risk management BI analytical solutions and identify opportunities to enhance support oversight functions.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the analysis and development of self service dashboards/reports for Internal Risk Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc.
Perform analysis and develop BI analytics that support risk policies and strategies.
Provide risk strategic analytics and information management across 1st and 2nd line teams ensuring reporting data-quality and controls are in place.
Performs business analysis and provide ad hoc analytics to respond to regulatory and business questions and provide portfolio insights.
Partners with Clients to understand and quickly respond to Client needs. Proactively seeks Client feedback to influence change throughout organization.
Assists project manager and work with business users to gather business requirements and draft and co-ordinate approval for Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
3-5 years experience and ability to partner with Business & Technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project goals.
Hands-On Experience on BI Tools (Tableau, Python etc.): Engaging in projects that offer practical experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
Proficient ability to interpret business requirements for the purpose of liaising with Technology Developers.
Knowledge of banking domain especially risk management and basic understanding of various credit policies.
Preferred knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Builds and maintains relationship skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
