Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking talented Java Developers to design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems. Successful candidates will be instrumental in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance microservices-based solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Common Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Apply TDD and test-first development practices across all development stages.
Implement data access layers using Hibernate and JPA and manage caching using Redis or other caching frameworks.
Ensure high quality through effective code reviews, static code analysis, and performance optimization.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities Specific to Experience Levels :
Develop and maintain backend systems using Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud technologies under guidance.
Participate in the design and implementation of microservices-based solutions.
Assist in the integration and optimization of Oracle and MongoDB in high-performance environments.
Experience
3-4 years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java.
Spring Ecosystem
Knowledge and experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Microservices Architecture
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.
Data Access & Databases
Proficient in Hibernate, JPA, relational (Oracle), and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
Caching (Redis)
Exposure to Redis or equivalent for caching and performance optimization.
Testing Strategies
Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Shift-Left testing strategies.
Test Automation Tools/Frameworks
Hands-on experience with Junit, Mockito, REST Assured, Cucumber, or Selenium.
Application Performance
Understanding of code quality and performance optimization during development.
Problem-Solving
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to complex development tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of API Gateways, Service Discovery, and Distributed Tracing (e.g., Spring Cloud Gateway, Eureka, Zipkin).
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Experience with code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube, CheckStyle).
Understanding of security best practices for backend development (OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security).

Communication & Stakeholder Management
Good communication and basic stakeholder interaction.
Technical Depth & Business Acumen
Ability to balance technical depth with immediate project priorities.

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
