Digital Design Engineer Senior Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Design Engineer Senior Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Responsible for the design and delivery of UX/UI concepts within the organization and translation of complex business data into clear design. Define hierarchy and functionality of user experiences as well as design the UI across various lines of business. Work closely with product, tech, and design stakeholders along with business clients to understand product needs and demonstrate how these needs are being carried out through each step of the design. Understand, synthesize, and execute complex data by building digital dashboards that support client needs. Design system and perform pattern management to ensure consistency of components in appearance and function across the suite of data dashboards. Maintain visual design patterns and frameworks that align with the Employee Experience Design System. Build new design components that can be built and leveraged as common components that support other workstations.  A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, HCI (Human, Computer Interaction), or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Designing web experiences with an understanding of responsive design and design systems; Working with Photoshop, Sketch, Figma and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications to create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs for applications builds; Utilizing programming languages including HTML, CSS, Angular, and JavaScript to design feasible interfaces that work within different frameworks;  Handling designs and prototypes utilizing conceptual and strategic thinking to create data-driven dashboards that communicate proper stories; Utilizing design elements and typography skills to achieve acceptable design patterns; Utilizing interaction design and site architecture in the design of intuitive user interfaces and navigation; and Utilizing data visualization best-practices to create data-driven dashboards and translate complex data requirements into meaningful visualizations that tell a proper story. 40 hrs./wk. 25% domestic travel required.
