The Olympus Data Reconciliation and Engineering team is responsible for delivering enterprise solutions and common operating model, that provides scalable, efficient and standardise processing for complex reconciliations in the global processing hubs. This role, BUSINESS ANALYST, will be responsible for all aspects of Reconciliation platform requirement gathering , data collection etc

Responsibilities:

  • As part of the Global Reconciliation Utility (GRU) and business analyst team development and support of our reconciliation processing and reporting platforms.
  • Provide expertise in areas of product design, software development and ensure application design adheres to the overall Citi’s architecture blueprint
  • Need Big Data Application Development Senior Developer Profile with experience in building a Spark based Data Integration pipeline on CDH /CDP cluster.
  • Deliver effective, efficient and high-quality solutions to our partners with focus on simplified process, minimizing manual touchpoints and providing self-service accessibility
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Resolve variety of high impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Actively participate in defining priorities and best sequence for execution in support of GRU strategy.
  • Liaise with the various Business Stakeholders across LOBs, Global Risk & Finance to provide a cohesive and comprehensive solutions
  • Influence & negotiate with the Senior Business and Tech Management to prioritize needed execution on the Enterprise wide Data strategies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and Engineering Excellence across all projects delivered.
  • Implement and adopt best in class DevOps processes across all applications managed.
  • Provide support towards budget and forecasting exercise.
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements 
  • Manage and maintain required disaster recovery plans, oversee appropriate testing, and provide permit-to-operate for new applications
  • Champion diversity, inclusion & Voice of Employee metrics across the organization.
  • Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department and ensure transparency and consistency across teams
  • Ensure change is managed with appropriate controls, documentation, and approvals including implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry with good knowledge of requirement gathering, business analysis, data & information collection,

Skills required:

  • ,

  • Good understanding of the nuances of a Reconciliation Platform and of accounting, reporting & internal controls

  • 10+ years of experience with existing/off-the-shelf reconciliation platforms e.g., Intellimatch, ReconArt, etc.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge experience in Payments or Cards or Wallets or all in a multicurrency environment
  • Good understanding of payment formats like SWIFT/ACH, currencies, payment gateways, operational risk around payments.\
  • Worked with Operations and Finance teams to meet their requirements within defined timelines.
  • Should have actively worked on large and mid-sized technology projects
  • Should have in-depth understanding of SDLC
  • Self-driven and a go getter who is comfortable in dealing with open ended problems.
  • Is solution oriented and can come up with solution options for problem statements.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • PMP Certification, specific  business Licenses beneficial
