Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst - C12 - PUNE

Job Purpose: Candidate would be part of CPB Tech team based out of Pune. S/he would be involved in development, support and maintenance of new and existing global projects working right from design to implementation and support thereafter.

Job Background/context:
Citi is looking to hire a Front End hands on lead to work on a range of web platforms (AngulrJS, TypeScript and JSUnit (ProtractorJS / Jasmine / Cucumber)). Web design experience is preferred.
You will be playing a pivotal role in the UX cycle: research and create visually pleasing interfaces, coordinating their implementation and integration, and more.
You will be expected to apply user-centered design processes to create high quality user experiences, and reusable patterns and assets for various products.
1.    Designing and maintaining common components
2.    Creating user interface components and assets
3.    Evaluating multiple concepts for projects and suggesting ideas are worth pursuing
4.    Fulfilling several requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
•    Get involved & take responsibility in requirement gathering/understanding, KT
•    Be proficient/expert in FrontEnd technologies, BackBone JS, AngularJS, Require.js, share expertise with the team to address project requirements.
•    To work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges at appropriate time to address project delivery risks
•    Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery
•    Customer interfacing - understand customer requirements, propose technical solutions.
•    Experience in Full-Life-Cycle Development of Web/Mobile projects
•    To do code review, test case reviews and ensure code developed meets the requirements
•    Good at Design/Coding/Testing/ Debugging
•    Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 developers
 

Knowledge/Experience: 
•    Senior tech specialist with strong technical ability (architecture, design and development) with 8-12 years of experience in software development including Backbone.js, Jquery, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3
•    Translate business requirements into technical documents/design/code
•    Decompose architecture into implementable design elements and then develop the component
•    Implement appropriate design standards, frameworks and patterns while designing and developing components
•    Develop services layer/enterprise services
•    Code reviews
•    Debug any issues that arise in system or user testing or in production and provide timely resolution as and when needed
•    Experience using a MV* framework (such as Backbone.js, Ember.js, AngularJS, ReactJS, …)
•    Experience with web interface development and frameworks (Ajax, Angular, Jquery, and similar)
•    Experience with Advanced SOAP/REST Client or similar
•    Client-side JavaScript debugging
•    Experience in using a version control system, preferably Git
•    Knowledge of HTML5, DOM traversal/manipulation and event capturing
•    Exceptional analytical abilities, creativity and attention to detail 
•    Good team player who is a self-starter and well organized
•    Have rich experience in Backbone.js and AngularJS, well versed with 3 tier architecture / component layer architecture
•    Experience in designing and architecting medium to complex systems, well versed with design standards & framework 
•    Experience in working on multiple technologies and complex projects 
•    Experience in UNIX environment, UNIX scripts etc. 
•    Experience in Java and J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB will be added advantage. 
•    RDBMS – DB2, Oracle/Sybase/SQL server 
•    Application servers - JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere 
•    Frameworks – Struts, Hibernate, Springs 
•    Knowledge in design Patterns. 
•    OS- Mac OS X, Windows, Unix
•    Functional and Technical Specs documentation
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)

Candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on need basis in order to interact with US onshore team and to meet urgent requests by Clients.
