About the Role: 

NET Application Developer – Private Equity: The PE IT team supports Citco’s fast growing Private Equity (PE) Fund Administration business. The data and applications environment supports our global PE business teams and clients with approximately $400 billion under administration. The Application Developer works closely within a cross-functional organization of business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure engineers to understand business- related challenges, design process and technical solutions, and, ultimately, solve problems to address business-motivated changes. It's time to add someone to our team who can take the design, development and support of our PE applications to the next level.

About You: 

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in .NET Core, C#, Web API, and React to develop and enhance scalable enterprise applications. The role involves working across the stack, contributing to both backend services and modern UI development, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core and C#

• Build and consume RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Core Web API)

• Design and implement frontend components using React

• Work with EF Core and SQL Server for data access and persistence

• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver features

• Follow Agile development practices (Scrum/Kanban)

• Contribute to application enhancements and modernization initiatives

Required Technical Skills

Backend

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core 

• Good understanding of ASP.NET Core Web API 

• Experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core) 

• Understanding of REST API design principles

Frontend

• Practical experience with React.js

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3

• Familiarity with state management (Redux / Context API)

Database

• Experience with SQL Server

• Basic understanding of: 

  • Query optimization

  • Stored procedures

  • Database design

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)

• Basic awareness of AI tools like Github copilot or AWS Q

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Soft Skills

• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment

• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
