Within Cisco, the Collaboration Employee Experience organization builds workspace solutions that connect people, places, and experiences.

Located just outside of Oslo, our Devices innovation center is home to 300+ passionate engineers working across hardware, software, mechanics, audio, media processing and artificial intelligence - from concept to product. We strive to create best-in-class video conferencing experiences by bringing together diverse engineering disciplines under one roof.

The Meetings group, based in our Devices innovation center, is hiring a software engineer. The group is responsible for ensuring that Cisco devices deliver a reliable, high-quality experience across every major meeting platform. • Driving continuous improvement across both code and engineering processes.
  • Actively leveraging AI-based tools and capabilities to improve engineering productivity and product quality, in line with our company-wide commitment to applying AI for the benefit of customers and employees.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional programming experience in C++, Python, or Rust.
  • Hands-on experience working with Linux.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience with Android development and the broader Android ecosystem.
  • Experience with embedded platforms and low-level programming.
  • A solid foundation in problem-solving, debugging, analytical reasoning and a continuous-learning mindset.
  • A demonstrated interest in device security principles and practices.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional environment.
