Job Description

 Meet the Team 

The Cisco Wireless Feature & System Engineering team builds end-to-end wireless capabilities across access points, controllers, and cloud-managed platforms. We design features that span device software, control planes, and management systems to deliver seamless, secure, and high-performance enterprise Wi-Fi.

Your Impact 

You will define and drive the technical vision for full-stack wireless systems, owning both development and validation strategy across AP, controller, and management platforms.

In this role:

• Define long-term architecture for end-to-end wireless systems and validation strategies

• Lead large-scale initiatives across development, testing, and system integration

• Drive innovation in enterprise wireless features, quality, and reliability

• Establish best practices for automation, test coverage, and system validation

• Influence product direction and align cross-functional teams

• Drive AI-native development and testing workflows across teams

Minimum Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in wireless systems and networking

• Deep expertise in enterprise Wi-Fi, security, and system architecture

• Strong experience in both development and large-scale system validation

• Proven track record delivering high-quality, complex systems

• Strong leadership across cross-functional teams

 Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience with:

  • Advanced roaming and mobility optimization

  • Mesh networking and distributed systems

  • Spectrum intelligence and RF analytics

  • QoS, scheduling, and traffic optimization

  • Location services and telemetry systems

  • Security including WPA3, Zero Trust, and PQC readiness
