Job Description

MEET THE TEAM

Cisco’s Devices Experience Design team creates the tools, workflows, and intelligent experiences that help administrators manage collaboration technology with clarity and confidence. We are a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that leads through design by using craft, systems thinking, research, and close partnership to make complex device, room, and enterprise configuration experiences feel more approachable, reliable, and human at scale. In this role, you’ll contribute as a senior individual contributor within our dedicated Administrator Product Design team, partnering with product, engineering, research, data science, and business collaborators to turn complex operational needs into thoughtful, high-quality product experiences. The team is curious, pragmatic, detail-oriented, and grounded in real customer needs while continuing to improve for enterprise design. What makes this role exciting is the opportunity to help shape the future of administrative experiences through design work, automation, and emerging technologies in a team that values shared ownership, thoughtful critique, and design-led problem solving.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Shape scalable administrative experiences that help customers and internal teams manage Cisco collaboration technology with clarity, confidence, and less operational friction within a larger ecosystem.
  • Identify workflow difficulties, usability gaps, and opportunities for simplification, automation, and design consistency across complex device, room, and enterprise configuration experiences.
  • Translate complexity and needs into thoughtful product flows, interaction models, prototypes, and design system patterns that are accessible, scalable, and ready for delivery.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, research, data science, design leads, and business collaborators to align user needs, technical constraints, roadmap priorities, and measurable outcomes.
  • Use user insights, telemetry, feedback loops, and design critique to refine experiences, raise the quality bar, and improve usability, accessibility, productivity, and product impact.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX, HCI, Interaction Design, Product Design, Cognitive Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing complex enterprise, B2B, administrator, collaboration, hardware-software, or connected device products.
  • Experience leading product design from problem definition to launch, including discovery, concepting, iteration, delivery, and multi-functional alignment.
  • Experience designing and shipping workflows, interaction systems, intelligent admin experiences, or enterprise products that improve user and business outcomes.
  • Portfolio with at least 2 shipped examples showing the problem, candidate’s role, solution, outcome, and use of design/prototyping or AI-assisted tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of product design experience in enterprise, B2B, administrator, operations, hardware-software, or intelligent workplace products.
  • Experience designing administrator workflows.
Familiarity with emerging AI technologies, including LLMs, multimodal models, agentic systems, and context-aware admin experiences.
  • Experience contributing to design systems, interaction patterns, accessibility standards, AI experience frameworks, or behavioral guardrails for complex enterprise tools.
  • Strong communicator with visual design sensibility, able to simplify admin complexity and align teams on user value, feasibility, responsible AI, and design excellence.
