Expands relationships, cultivates new opportunities, and drives continuous improvement by integrating advanced technologies, sharing best practices, and enabling transformation for both customers and internal teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of Cisco Service Provider solutions, owning solution design, implementation, and customer acceptance across complex SP network programs.
  • Act as the senior technical authority during delivery, translating high-level designs (HLDs) into low-level designs (LLDs), MOPs, and validated implementation plans.
  • Lead and manage the full services project lifecycle across the customer's engagements: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closure.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects within the program, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality while adhering to Cisco's GPMO methodology.
  • Act as the central point of program control and communication between Cisco Create and maintain detailed project/program plans, including scope, schedule, resources, cost, quality, communications, and risk/issue logs.
  • Drive adherence to scope and manage change requests with the customer, partners, and Cisco account teams.
  • Monitor baseline dimensions — schedule, cost, and quality — and proactively identify and mitigate risks with clear contingency plans.
  • Lead strategic technical discussions across stakeholders, share Cisco’s product roadmap by integrating customer feedback and market insights, and develop differentiated solutions that drive long-term business value.
  • Create and maintain detailed project/program plans, including scope, schedule, resources, cost, quality, communications, and risk/issue logs.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects within the program, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality while adhering to Cisco's GPMO methodology.

Minimum Qualifications

  •  15+ years in SP network delivery/consulting, with significant time in a senior design or architect capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change management in a services delivery context.
  • Proficiency with standard PM tooling such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and the ability to present technical solutions to engineering and leadership audiences.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project/program management credential (PRINCE2, etc.).

Core Technical Skills — Transport & Routing

  • Deep expertise in MPLS, including LDP, RSVP-TE, MPLS-TE, L2VPN/L3VPN (VPNv4/VPNv6, EVPN), and traffic engineering at SP scale.
  • Strong hands-on SRv6 design and deployment experience — uSID, SRv6 TE policies, flex-algo, and migration strategies from MPLS/SR-MPLS to SRv6.
  • Segment Routing (SR-MPLS) fundamentals: SR-TE, On-Demand Next-Hop (ODN), and SR policy automation.
  • Proven IGP/BGP design at scale (IS-IS, OSPF, BGP including route reflection, BGP-LU, and BGP-LS for controller integration).

Delivery & Execution Skills

  • Own technical delivery quality across the project lifecycle: design validation, lab/PoC, staging, migration, cutover, and operational handover.
  • Produce and review delivery artifacts — HLD/LLD, MOPs, NIPs, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills across both engineering and executive audiences.
  • High customer orientation: understands the business impact of delivery outcomes for a carrier and manages expectations transparently.
