Your Impact 

As a Consulting Engineering Technical Leader, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, owning and leading the strategy, design, and implementation of sophisticated Data Centre and networking solutions that directly accelerate business outcomes. You will: 

• Provide technical leadership for complex cross-functional projects with cutting-edge Cisco Data Centre technologies for large and complex customer network environments.
• Drive the adoption innovative technology to solve real-world business problems and deliver scalable, robust services.
• Apply and share advanced AI tools to optimise team workflows and eliminate low-value work, shaping best practices for validation and refinement.
• Ensure solutions deliver measurable value and drive improvements in longer-term customer adoption and satisfaction.
• Act as an escalation point for complex problem resolution, demonstrating deep technical expertise to resolve sophisticated issues across a broad range of data centre technologies.
• Lead the development of digital intellectual capital, repeatable delivery frameworks, and knowledge-sharing practices that elevate the entire consulting team.
• Maintain relationships with Engineering Business Units and Service Development teams to influence future product roadmaps and service offerings.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, with 8–12 years of relevant experience in customer-facing technical consulting, pre-sales, and/or service delivery roles.
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols and technologies (vPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) with strong hands-on Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K platform experience.
• Proven experience in design and deployment of Data Centre solutions including traditional DC standalone Nexus design, Cisco VXLAN Fabric and Cisco ACI Fabric solutions using ACI MultiPod /Multisite/Remote Leaf Fabric architectures.
• Experience integrating network services appliances (such as firewalls, IPS, load balancers, WAN optimizers) within Data Centre solution designs.
• Expert level (e.g. CCIE, Cisco DevNet) or equivalent vendor certification (e.g. VCP) expected.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills, while being self-motivated with a focus on execution.
• Advanced skills in software programmability, automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform and so on), orchestration, and/or virtualization technologies.
• In depth experience with compute, virtualization, and container environments including Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, VMware, Microsoft, and Kubernetes.
• Broad experience with multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud from a network integration perspective.
