Our Consulting Engineering partners with some of the largest enterprises in the world to design, deploy, and optimize next-generation networks built on Cisco SD-Access, SD-WAN, and Routing & Switching — turning customer outcomes into measurable business value.

Your Impact

As an entry-level Consulting Engineer, you will join a team of senior technical experts and contribute to the deployment and operations of Cisco SD-Access, SD-WAN, and Routing & Switching solutions. This role is exciting because it's your launchpad into Cisco's enterprise networking practice — you'll get hands-on with the technologies powering the world's most critical networks, learn directly from senior engineers, and build the foundation for a long-term career as a customer-facing technical advisor.

  • Support configuration, setup, monitoring, and documentation tasks for Cisco SD-Access, SD-WAN, and Routing & Switching deployments under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Gather data, prepare project reports, and assist with system testing and analysis to inform problem resolution - using automation and AI tools to improve quality and speed.
  • Help set up basic lab environments to replicate customer issues and validate solutions.
  • Build foundational skills in clear, professional documentation — using automation scripts and AI-assisted tools, with appropriate validation.
  • Participate in team knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to a repository of best practices and lessons learned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent of 2 years of related experience).
  • Active CCNA certification.
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing and switching basics).
  • Exposure to Cisco IOS / IOS-XE through coursework, labs, or internships.
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python preferred).

  • Curiosity about Cisco SD-Access and SD-WAN/
  • Awareness of AI-assisted productivity tools and a mindset of validating outputs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a willingness to learn and adapt to feedback.
  • Collaborative, customer-first attitude and a passion for technology.
