Key Responsibilities
- jQuery Development: Utilize jQuery, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to develop dynamic and responsive web interfaces, implementing interactive features, data handling, and state management.
- Component Development: Create reusable components and libraries using jQuery best practices, maintaining code quality, modularity, and scalability.
- UI Design and Integration: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components.
- Front-end Optimization: Optimize front-end performance by employing efficient coding practices, minimizing load times, and optimizing UI rendering for an enhanced user experience.
- Security: Write secure code, conduct thorough testing, and address security vulnerabilities to ensure the integrity of web applications.
- Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Compatibility: Ensure consistent functionality and appearance of web interfaces across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging of front-end code to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility with various scenarios and user interactions.
- Code Maintenance and Documentation: Document and maintain clean, well-structured code following coding standards and best practices, and update/refactor code as needed for improved efficiency and maintainability.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Technology: Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest trends, frameworks, and best practices in UI development, jQuery, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in jQuery, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with hands-on experience in building robust and scalable applications.- Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools.- Experience in version control systems (e.g., Git) and front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
