Regional Head, GCMB - Commercial Banking Product

Location: Malaysia

Strategy and Planning/ Business Performance Management

• Develop and spearhead the execution of Commercial Banking Product strategies and business plans which covers product proposition, go-to-market strategy, product utilization and profitability to grow market share and profitability in alignment to business strategies & goals.
• Ensure products are developed, rolled out are implemented effectively to its targeted customers within the timelines, targets and budgets.
• Drive cross-selling initiatives and campaigns including campaign strategy, communication and tracking to ensure effectiveness in supporting the sales force.
• Ensure disciplined tracking on product profitability & utilization based on product performance, revenue, volume, etc. 
• Conduct analysis on market share and competitor, industry trends and best practices for continuous product review and improvement
• Constant engagement with the sales teams to ensure product related trainings and updates.
• Ensure alignment of Commercial products/offering/services with the associated process/ systems.
• Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure the integrity of final delivered solutions, processes and documentation.

People Management 

• Identify, allocate and organise resource requirements, including people requirements.
• Leads, manages and engages talent in order to build a shared vision.
• Develops, builds and leads an effective and cohesive team that operates seamlessly.
• Champion a strong service culture in enhancing customer experience and developing overall brand equity for Commercial Banking.
• Works with stakeholders to build talent pipeline and its succession plan.

Regulatory Compliance

• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and practices for managing and mitigating business risks and people issues.
• Ensure all staff adheres to all internal as well as external policies and regulations such as credit guidelines, risk policies, audit and statutory compliance and regulations.
• Review and monitor portfolio growth and continuous risk assessment of the portfolio.

Job requirement

• Bachelor degree in any fields, preferably Business Administration, Banking, Finance and/or Marketing
• Strong knowledge in banking and Commercial Banking products and services.
• Experience in leading teams to implement product solutions
• Strong ability to understand, analyse, and present data to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people from all levels.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills

Responsible to lead and manage the end-to-end Commercial Banking Product lifecycle, strategy and profitability to provide solutions to customers and drive revenue growth.
