Manager, Deposit Product VN

Location: Viet Nam; Hybrid

Strategy & Planning

• Support the Head of Deposit, Wealth & Segments in developing and executing deposit and wealth growth strategies

• Translate business priorities into clear initiatives, KPIs, and execution plans across products, channels, and partnerships

• Identify growth opportunities through customer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis

Deposit & Wealth Growth

Drive growth across:

• CASA balances and active accounts

• Deposit balances and portfolio profitability

• CD and MMF balances/AUM

• Total customer assets and wallet share

Develop initiatives to increase customer funding, asset retention, and product penetration

Work closely with Segment, Branch, Digital, and Partnership teams to drive acquisition, activation, and asset growth

Customer Acquisition, Activation & Engagement

Partner with external players (Wealth, Insurance, lifestyle ecosystem) to:

• Drive customer acquisition and funding

• Increase account activation and usage

• Improve customer engagement and retention

• Promote cross-sell and asset deepening opportunities

Design and execute campaigns to drive transaction banking activities including salary crediting, payments, transfers and digital banking usage

Leverage customer data and analytics to understand customer behavior, lifecycle needs and growth opportunities

Product & Channel Enablement:

• Enhance customer journeys across CASA, Deposits, CD, MMF and Transaction Banking products to improve customer experience and product adoption

• Work closely with Mobile App, Technology and Operations teams to implement product enhancements and process improvements

• Support the rollout of product initiatives, campaigns and sales enablement activities across channels

Governance & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate across Product, marketing , Risk, Compliance Finance, Operations and IT to ensure smooth and timely execution

Support governance processes including:

• Business case approvals

• Product/program reviews

• Post-implementation evaluations

Ensure all segment initiatives comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements

 

Job Requirements:

Banking / Finance / Business degree and equivalent functional experience

Minumum 5 years experience in retail banking, digital banking, wealth, insurance.

Technical/Functional skills

• Strong understanding of CASA, Deposits, Transaction Banking, and investment products.

• Proven experience in driving asset growth, customer acquisition, activation, and portfolio performance.

• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into business actions.

• Experience in managing business performance, KPIs, and growth initiatives.

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Good project management and execution capabilities.
