The Opportunity:
8-month work term: September 2026 – April 2027
12-month work term: September 2026 – August 2027
How you will make an impact:
- Conduct system-level testing using Python automation scripts and manual execution methods
- Install and provision optical systems within a lab environment
- Troubleshoot system-level issues identified during testing activities
- Collaborate with System Architects to analyze and determine root causes of system behavior
- Execute validation activities using optical and electrical test equipment
The must haves:
- Education: Working towards completion of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Application of Linux in academic or project-based environments
- Utilization of Python programming for automation or testing tasks
Nice to haves:
- Experience: Application of lab-based testing environments
- Exposure to fiber optics and optical networking concepts
Pay Range:
