We're looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to join an international engineering team building highly scalable payment solutions.

Work model
This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be available to work at the client's office twice a week (São Paulo).

What you'll be doing
- Lead a team of engineers building and supporting mission-critical applications.
- Drive technical excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making across multiple engineering teams.
- Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support production systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
What we're looking for
- Strong experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Developer leading development teams.
- Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing and operating cloud-native applications.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized environments.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
- Experience participating in software architecture and system design discussions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Advanced English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Pix or other real-time payment platforms.
- Experience with Alternative Payment Methods (APMs).
- Experience in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.
