CHG is looking for a Senior Vendor Data Analyst to join our Engineering Data Platform team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will support the business in evaluating the quality of data acquired from third-party sources. You will work closely with external data vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of our data sets, contributing to the organization's data-driven initiatives. This role will report to the Sr. Vendor Data Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Data Quality Evaluation and Analysis:

  • Assess the quality of data acquired from third-party sources, review business reports on external data quality, and collaborate with partners to rectify errors and enhance data quality.

  • Analyze the quality and value of sample data received from vendors during evaluations, comparing and ranking it against samples from other vendors.

  • Pull data samples for analysis and conduct regular audits to monitor data quality metrics, identifying and addressing issues promptly.

  • Data Enrichment and Integration:

  • Enhance and uphold existing data enrichment strategies to continuously improve the accuracy, relevance, and value of our data.

  • Support seamless integration of enriched data into systems, databases, and analytics platforms.

  • Ensure shared data sets used for database enrichment are maintained with fresh and relevant data.

  • Quality Assurance and Governance:

  • Identify and resolve issues where acquired data fails to meet quality standards.

  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation activities to maintain data integrity and reliability.

  • Support compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations by being diligent about

  • privacy when working with external data vendors and datasets.

  • Operational Support:

  • Review scheduled data maintenance tasks and logs to ensure they are executed as expected, and work with external partners to resolve any problems.

  • Query data and generate reports from external vendor data to meet the evolving needs of the business.

  • Prepare data vendor scorecards and conduct surveys to gather feedback from business users on data quality and satisfaction

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education & Years of Experience:

  • 5+

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field

  • Proven experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations is a plus.

  • Experience with Cloud Data Warehousing and BI Tools is a plus.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $57,900-- $140,300 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location. 

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
