What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Software Engineer on our engineering team, you will work on advancing our cutting-edge systems for Dashboard, Reporting & Search, and our Frontend Platform, which includes a micro frontend framework, component library, and UI federation system. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable solutions that empower seamless integration and insightful reporting for our users. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our platform with modern technologies while mentoring and guiding the team.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain scalable solutions for our dashboards and reporting systems to deliver actionable insights.
- Enhance and expand our frontend platform, ensuring it remains robust, modular, and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain seamless APIs and highly performant user interfaces.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of microservices and event-driven systems.
- Tackle complex technical challenges in system integration, UI federation, and real-time data processing
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Architect flexible, scalable systems to meet dynamic business requirements.
- Provide thoughtful, respectful, and actionable feedback during code reviews and design discussions.
- Dive into unfamiliar codebases, refactor them for efficiency and maintainability, and ensure proper documentation.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering technical growth and a collaborative culture.
- Write clean, maintainable, and rigorously tested code.
- Approach technical and organizational challenges with a constructive and problem-solving mindset.
- Identify complex problems and deliver well-structured, effective solutions
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Expertise in Kotlin (or Java) and/or TypeScript, with a focus on building backend and frontend systems.
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or Snowflake.
- Experience with modern infrastructure tools like Kubernetes, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Strong understanding of frontend frameworks. (Experience with micro frontends is a plus)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source code management using Git.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies to stay ahead in a fast-paced domain.
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a bonus).Why Join Us?
