Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Investigations

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be a key member of our Investigations team, responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our blockchain data ingestion and analysis platforms. This role requires a strong background in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and a deep understanding of blockchain technologies.

Please note that this role requires the applicant to be a U.S. Citizen.

In this role, you’ll:

• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using AWS and other cloud services.

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments.

• Administer and scale Kubernetes clusters to support our microservices architecture.

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions to ensure efficient and secure code deployment.

• Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of our infrastructure.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including security, product, and other engineering teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of infrastructure services.

• Apply security best practices to all aspects of infrastructure management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Provide input into long-term platform requirements and operational guidelines with a focus on developer productivity and reliability.

• Continuously raise our standard of engineering excellence by implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.

• Build and maintain documentation around processes and workflows.  

We’re looking for candidate who have:

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on cloud environments (AWS preferred).

• Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.

• Experience with additional monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog. 

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi, Chef, Puppet, etc).

Nice to Have experience

• Understanding of blockchain technologies and experience working with blockchain data systems.

• Experience designing and operating large-scale, multi-region production systems.

• Experience with running production services on bare-metal.
