Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer with 12+ years of experience in data engineering and a strong focus on the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and Snowflake-based solutions to meet business needs and enable advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop end-to-end data solutions using Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
  • Implement and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to process structured and unstructured data.
  • Create and manage complex data models, including schema design, views, and stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of Snowflake workloads.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years working on Snowflake.
  • Expertise in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools like Informatica, Matillion, or Talend.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and Snowflake features (e.g., time travel, cloning, data sharing).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their Snowflake integrations.
  • Proficient in version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Snowflake certifications or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
