Maintenance Engineering Intern

This role will be working closely with our Maintenance Engineering team and is a great opportunity to gain work experience in the manufacturing field.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze inventory levels, usage trends and stock accuracy to identify opportunities for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
- Support implementation and improvement of min/max levels, reorder points and inventory organization.
- Assist in improving CMMS data quality, including parts, asset hierarchy and failure code accuracy.
- Support Root Cause Analysis investigations for equipment failures and document corrective actions.
- Lead or support continuous improvement projects with a focus on enhancing preventive maintenance effectiveness.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project results to maintenance and plant leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to take ownership of projects and drive results.
