Census Embedded 🍞

Census Embedded is a suite of features that allows customers to import or export their customers’ data using Census core rETL pipes. You can think of it like Plaid for data. This suite includes offerings like

• A robust and flexible management API for folk who want to build Census functionality directly into their applications

• Embeddable UI components to help developers build complex pieces of Census UI into their apps

• Custom branding for customers that want to give their end users full access to the Census platform

Your Mission ⚡

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Embedded team, you'll be working closely with the founders and the engineering team to build and scale a suite of developer tools & features to help Census Embedded customers offer rETL solutions to their customers.

We have a small, senior team of engineers with years of industry experience from companies like Amazon, Google, and Dropbox, as well as extensive startup experience (including six former YC founders on staff).

Your Responsibilities 🗓

• You will make contributions to all parts of our tech stack, which is comprised of Ruby on Rails, Typescript, Vue, and AWS.

• You will work closely with our product team and customers to help design and develop a whole suite of Census Embedded features.

• You will inform much of our early culture and be part of creating a truly special team.

• You will be a collaborative member of our sprint process - we do short sprint plans once a week and 30 minute daily virtual stand-ups. Hint: come prepared with some Questions of the Day!

• Can build things end-to-end. Our engineers build, deploy and maintain their code.

• Is adept with data, backend systems, and UI components.

• Is customer-focused, with an eye for building delightful product experiences and developer experiences.

• Approaches new problems with a scrappy optimism, with a bias towards action.

• Thrives in ambiguous environments where you get to work directly with customers and make decisions that build trust and have a huge impact on the business.

• Is excited to work with new tech and ideas in our regular engineering team hackathons.

• Has a Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Math or equivalent experience.

Compensation 💰

Salary $180,000 - $230,000
