The Team:

The global IT team is responsible for the complete support of all the critical applications running on the Celonis systems. We are the backbone for the critical IT infrastructure and ensure smooth functioning of the global systems. 

The Role:

The IT Team Lead will provide hands-on leadership and support to the IT team in Bangalore while ensuring seamless IT service delivery across the organization. This role combines technical expertise, team management, and a focus on continuous improvement to meet the dynamic needs of a global IT environment.

The work you’ll do:

  • IT Support & Issue Resolution
    ○ Resolve, transfer, or escalate IT tickets raised by internal employees.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, email, and remote access.
    ○ Provide on-site IT support at the Bangalore office on a regular basis.
    ○ Manage mobile device support for corporate smartphones using Microsoft Intune.
    ○ Operate, configure, and maintain computing equipment (Mac/Windows environments).
  • Documentation & Training
    ○ Develop user guides, documentation, and checklists for common IT issues.
    ○ Create optimized training materials and provide regular training to ensure process alignment.
  • Team Leadership
    ○ Provide guidance and hands-on support to the Bangalore-based IT team.
    ○ Monitor IT staff performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
    ○ Proactively monitor IT staff performance using ServiceNOW for reporting and drive continuous improvement in service delivery through effective leadership and process alignment.
    ○ Actively train and mentor junior colleagues to align with organizational goals.
  • Process Improvement
    ○ Notice systemic issues, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
    ○ Define and optimize operational processes for enhanced efficiency.
    ○ Lead projects and vendor management initiatives within the IT domain.

The qualifications you need:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Service Engineer.
  • 3+ years of experience in Windows 11 and MacOS support.
  • 3+ years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Basic Azure Active Directory administration experience.
  • Expertise in Windows (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019) and MacOS environments.
  • Knowledge of AzureAD/Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with MDM tools like Microsoft Intune and Kandji.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Hands-on experience with video-conferencing systems (Zoom/MS Teams) and network components.
  • Additional experiences: Solid understanding of ITIL / ITSM processes. ITIL Foundation certificate holder
  • Strong customer service mindset with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team while working independently when required.
  • Team player with a desire to learn and remain calm under pressure.
