Lead Value Engineer

Duties:

• Spearhead Celonis’s mission of data-driven business transformation with our customers. Work in partnership with the Celonis Sales Teams and have full responsibility for the end-to-end value journey of our customers.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, helping them achieve their strategic goals and realize significant value using Celonis EMS.
• Collaborate with our partners and Celonis Services to drive measurable business impact across various processes and industries and accelerate the adoption of our platform.
• Discover and translate customers’ strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases. Build demos and business cases, leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices to win new customers.
• Undertake Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.
• Facilitate business value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement.
• Use Celonis’s proprietary programming language PQL to engineer process mining solutions for Celonis and its customers.
• Analyze large sets of qualitative and quantitative data from clients to help them get an understanding of how they operate and detect any process inefficiencies.
• Engineer complex workflows to automate business processes using machine learning.
• Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
• Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
• Responsible for the end-to-end customer value journey, landing, expanding, adoption and renewing.
• Build a strategic expansion roadmap for customers embedding Celonis EMS as a strategic business transformation platform in their organization and therefore drive adoption and expansion.
• Provide feedback to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and Apps based on new use cases.
• Telecommuting permitted within commuting distance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related field and three (3) years of experience in an analytical customer-facing Process Improvement or Digital Transformation consulting role.
• Experience must include: Process Mining event-logs, PQL, SQL, Python, and YAML; SaaS applications, and ERP systems (including SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa); Implementing Automation/RPA and BI tools; Machine Learning and Simulation; Utilizing ETL including API, Kafka, on-premises extraction; Leading enterprise software sales cycle with Annual Contract Value (ACV) above $1 Million; and Software and/or consulting engagements centered on finance and supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Domestic travel required within the US 25% of the time.
