Celink is hiring an application developer who will work closely with business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design and implementation of quality technical solutions. This role will work legacy and AWS cloud services-based applications using established patterns for solution development and reuse. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and architecture design, performance monitoring, etc.,

*Duties and responsibilities*

* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality enterprise solutions.
* Plan and estimate development work needed to implement assigned tasks.
* Transform complex requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutions.
* Perform detailed application design as appropriate.
* Ability to coordinate and work production issues via a queue.
* Ability to work with BA and prod support teams to ensure questions and answers are clear and concise.
* Aid in the planned rewrite of the legacy application to newer technologies (microservices in AWS).
* Share knowledge of new technologies and techniques that could benefit the team.
* Document assigned tickets on-time on progress or question/concerns so management can report appropriately.

· Understanding business specifications and user requirements

· Develop and implement microservices GraphQL-based applications to support mortgage servicing platform.

· Build logging and telemetry into applications.

· Perform unit testing and security testing.

· Support applications in production.

· Knowledge of Postgres, MSSQL.

· Firm grasp of data engineering, including designing databases for applications.

· Strong knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.

· Experience with CICD – JIRA, Terraform, code versioning and branching strategies.

· Familiarity with AngularJS front-end development.

· Knowledge of GraphQL.

· Understanding of security testing (Veracode).

· Familiarity with front-end development, including knowledge of JS.

· Understanding of micro-services pattern.

· Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including AWS CloudWatch and DataDog.

· Knowledge of mortgages is a plus.

· Desire to learn and a keen eye for data problems.

· Tenacity to problem-solve using data and seeing the big-picture business needs.

*Experience Requirements*

* 3+ experience with Java/JEE or OOP based programming language.
* 1-2 years of experience in programming with python.
* 3+ years’ experience with database driven multi-tier software development.
* 3-5 years’ experience using at least one major database like SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, etc.,
* 2-3 years of cloud computing experience in AWS.
* Experience with build and dependency management tools required, like Maven.
* Experienced in developing HTML, CSS, XML, JSON and Java Script.
* Experience in API development and knowledge of microservices.
* Experience with writing complex queries for any RDBMS DBs like Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server.
* Experience writing unit test cases.
* Experience in high-volume, transaction processing productions systems.
* Object oriented analysis, design and programming skills.
* Experience with a recognized software development lifecycle methodology like Agile, Waterfall.
* Prior financial industry development experience preferred.
* Experience using project management tools like JIRA.
* Experience with Git/Bitbucket for source code version control.

*Education Requirements*

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
