Summary:

Hands-on Automation QA Engineer responsible for designing and developing end-to-end test automation across embedded systems, mobile, and cloud applications using Python, Robot Framework, and Appium. Documents test results and maintain records for later analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of test automation infrastructure.

• Create test scripts for GUIs (web, mobile) based on manual test cases or requirements.

• Implement keywords and test case in robot framework and write Python automation scripts.

• Automate Web & Mobile (Appium) test cases.

• Execute and maintain automated tests in CI/CD (incl Jenkins maintenance).

• Analyze test results, debug failures, log defects, and verify fixes.

• Work on system-level/E2E testing.

• Adherence to statutory, collectively agreed, and company regulations.

Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)

• 4–8 years of QA Automation experience, with at least the last 3 years involving hands-on Python coding for test automation.

• Hands-on Robot Framework & Appium.

• Experience in building and enhancing automation frameworks, CI/CD (Jenkins), Git, Jira and confluence.

Preferred

• Experience working in Product Development, CoE, or R&D environments across multiple global locations.

• Domain: HVAC / Automotive / Medical devices but not limited to.

• Exposure to embedded + mobile + cloud systems.

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics or Computers.
