About the role

As a member of Carrier’s Product Sustainability Analytics team, you will lead critical data governance operations and dashboard development efforts. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design scalable data models, and deliver impactful reports and dashboards using Power BI. Your work will also focus on enhancing operational efficiency through robust data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Data Quality and Governance: Implement and monitor data quality metrics to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Enforce data governance policies and standards.

• Data Observability and Monitoring: Develop and deploy tools to monitor data pipelines, detect anomalies, and maintain long-term data reliability.

• Data Democratization: Enable broader access to data through intuitive Power BI dashboards, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions.

• Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models that support reporting and analytics needs.

• Process Improvements: Drive continuous improvements in data handling processes with a focus on quality, scalability, and efficiency

Requirements 

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 6 years in data engineering, analytics, or BI development roles with a proven ability to work independently toward business goals.
