Job Description

Die strategische Geschäftseinheit ZEISS Photonics & Optics bündelt starke Consumer Products und High-End-Technologien für Simulations- und Projektionslösungen. Für die Entwicklung innerhalb der SIM suchen wir einen Head of R&D (m/w/x).

Ihre Rolle

  • Führung und Weiterentwicklung des interdisziplinären Teams aus bis zu 9 Kolleg:innen

  • Verantwortung für die Technologie- und Produkt-Roadmap insbesondere für die Definition, Priorisierung und Umsetzung

  • Steuerung der Entwicklungsprojekte von der Idee bis zur Industrialisierung

  • Vorantreiben technologischer Weiterentwicklung, inkl. Einsatz von KI und Technologie-Screening

  • Sicherstellung klarer Prozesse, transparenter Entscheidungen und effizienter Zusammenarbeit

  • Enge Abstimmung mit dem Management und relevanten Schnittstellen im ZEISS Konzern

Ihr Profil

  • Abgeschlossenes höheres natur oder ingenieurwissenschaftliches Studium

  • Ausgeprägte Erfahrung in Teamführung, technischer Projektsteuerung und Motivation

  • Fundiertes Wissen in Optik, Software, Hardwareintegration, Mechanik und Elektronik

  • Starke Problemlösungs- und Entscheidungsfähigkeiten, gepaart mit einem strategischen Denkansatz und strukturierter Arbeitsweise

  • Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch, sowohl schriftlich als auch mündlich, um effektiv mit internen und externen Stakeholdern zu kommunizieren
