We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands.

Your Role

As a Field Service Engineer, your role will involve:

• Installing, maintaining and repairing high-end ZEISS medical equipment at customer sites across the Benelux, with a focus on the Netherlands.

• Providing customers with training and first-line support guidance to ensure optimal use of our solutions.

• Identifying opportunities and new needs with existing customers to maximise satisfaction.

• Managing your own administration, measurement tools, test equipment and technical documentation.

• Participating in the setup of congresses and events.

This is a dynamic and customer-facing role where no two days are the same—you are the technical ambassador of ZEISS on-site. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) and offers a hybrid field-based working pattern, with travel across the region and flexibility in planning your workday.

Your Profile

You will have:

• A higher technical degree or equivalent experience in electronics or precision mechanics, with affinity for optics and automation.

• A creative, solution-oriented mindset focused on delivering complete customer solutions.

• The ability to work responsibly under pressure within the medical sector, combined with resilience and flexibility.

• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.

• A valid driver’s license (category B).
