  • Develop precision, low-noise, and high-voltage electronic solutions.

  • Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and electronic architectures.

  • Select components and manage electronic hardware throughout its lifecycle.

  • Support simulation, prototyping, board bring-up, verification, and validation activities.

  • Perform debugging, fault diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

  • Utilise laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analysers.

  • Work with external compliance and certification bodies to ensure products meet industry regulations and standards.

  • Support EMC, electrical safety, RoHS, UKCA, CSA, SEMI, and EN61010 requirements.

  • Drive engineering changes through ECR/ECO processes.

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and manufacturing readiness.

  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and production test facilities.

  • Produce technical documentation, specifications, test reports, and design records.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across products and engineering processes.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years' industry experience in electronics design and product development.

  • Proven experience developing analogue and digital electronic circuitry.

  • Strong understanding of schematic capture and PCB design principles.

  • Experience with microcontroller-based hardware and embedded interfaces.

  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

  • Knowledge of verification, validation, and product testing methodologies.

  • Understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Experience

We would particularly welcome candidates with experience in:

  • Scientific Instrumentation
