About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes full ownership of quality. The ideal candidate will independently design and execute both manual and automated tests, ensuring high product quality across all phases of development. 

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or Cypress 

• Perform end-to-end manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression 

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers 

• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution 

• Build and execute test plans, test cases, and test data 

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines 

• Advocate for quality and drive continuous improvement 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience with a strong background in both manual and automated testing 

• Solid hands-on experience in Playwright or Cypress  

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python 

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices 

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar 

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar 

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with performance testing or security testing 

• Exposure to Docker or cloud environments (Azure) 

• Working knowledge of TestRail, Jira, or similar tools
