Position Overview

Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Security Specialist to support SDA’s mission. Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• In-process personnel supporting SDA
• Process incoming and outgoing Visit Access Requests
• Perform security indoctrinations
• Process foreign travel notifications and debriefs
• Provide clearance verification for account requests
• Prepare documents and packages for mailing
• Maintain/update personnel records in multiple systems
• Provide support to internal Security functions to include PHYSEC, OPSEC, and Industrial Security
• Perform preliminary inquiries for security infractions/violations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required (or 4 years of related experience)
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required #qinetiqclearedjob
• 5 years' related experience required
• Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be willing to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
