IT Program & Project Management applies Information Technology knowledge and experience to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for complex projects within the Information Technology function. This family organizes project teams, establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and determines resource requirements. This job family manages project budgets and reports on the status of project cost, timing and staffing. IT Program & Project Management also ensures adherence to internal external quality standards and integrates vendor tasks and deliverables into project plans.
Job Summary
Seeking a Director level Program/Project Management professional to lead a multi-year initiative to integrate a merger with Cardinal Health's at-Home Solutions business. This integration will deliver comprehensive diabetes solutions that are tailored to support individual patients at-home, consistent with Cardinal Health's at-Home Solutions strategy to support this rapidly growing patient population.
At its core, this role will be instrumental in creating the multiyear execution roadmap, corresponding budget and successful integration.
Responsibilities
Create a multiyear execution plan, stakeholder engagement and budget & forecasting.
Manage, mentor and coach workstream PMO resources.
Engage with stakeholders to mitigate risks and maintain scope.
Successful integration and deployment of program with the following focus:
Provide portfolio reporting and oversight
Identify escalations and resolutions
Apply agile concepts
Qualifications
12+ years of experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
Agile or hybrid (Waterfall & Agile) methodology experience strongly preferred
PMP certified preferred
Strong stakeholder management skills
Project Director experience in highly matrixed environments
Acquisition and/or integration experience preferred
Proven track record of successful program deployments (on time, on budget)

Works on or may lead highly complex projects of large scope
Projects are typically cross-functional and have significant and long-term impact

Negotiates complex or risky technical business issues on behalf of the company
Independently defines project establishes budgets identifies participants and mitigates risk
Consults with management to determine project objectives with long-term implications
Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Anticipated salary range: $103,500-$184,790
