Senior Data Engineer (Data Platform, AWS + Snowflake)

What you'll do:

  • Design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines using AWS services (S3, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda) and Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Snowpipe Streaming, auto-ingest).

  • Define and implement data contracts and SDKs for consistent and reliable data integration across teams and systems.

  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to ensure well-modeled, high-quality data in Snowflake.

  • Optimize data pipeline performance, cost, and reliability, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources.

  • Contribute to the client’s CI/CD, monitoring, and data observability frameworks - including lineage, testing, and alerting.

  • Partner with platform and infrastructure teams to evolve our modern data stack and shared data services.


What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform roles.

  • Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with data ingestion frameworks and event-driven architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda) and Snowflake (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and Git-based workflows.

  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ELT workflows, and modern data platform design principles.

  • Pragmatic problem-solver with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
