Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in building, testing, and supporting of data pipelines on CapitaLand’s Enterprise Data Platform (EDP)
- Support data processing tasks for various business use cases across the organization
- Assist in preparing and organizing datasets to support internal and business stakeholders
- Help with documentation, data quality checks, and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Must-have Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related disciplines
- Strong understanding of Python or Java, with hands-on experience applying object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts through academic or internships projects
- Willingness to learn and explore new tools and technologies related to data engineering and analytics infrastructure
- Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
Good-to-have Requirements
- Familiarity with SQL (e.g. Spark SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Exposure to cloud-based data engineering platforms and big data tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Spark, or Hive (a plus, but not required)
