Principal Associate, Project Manager - DIB Consulting

The Principal Associate in this role will create, develop, execute and support initiatives that promote our DIB principles across the organization. We partner closely with leadership, HRBPs and enterprise partners to ensure we can deliver real-time impact, while diagnosing and solving pain points longer term. This role will be responsible for driving key line of business efforts. You’ll play a critical role in supporting key initiatives including projects, and priorities as needed in an environment where the business truly values strategic partnership.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage team projects and systems to ensure work is well run, strategically aligned and prioritized by setting deadlines, communicating with company executives about the state of the project, ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting if necessary to meet new requirements

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to activate the  strategy. Influence across all levels of the organization and across organizations

  • Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. Ability to drive and execute an agenda in ambiguous and fluid environments.

  • Collaborate with partners to proactively infuse DIB best practices into key processes

  • Produce high quality, scalable programs that support associate retention, engagement and sense of belonging

  • Facilitate DIB programs and discussions leveraging knowledge of current research and data

  • Deliver DIB projects and initiatives from start to finish, while providing regular progress updates to team leaders and stakeholders  Examples include: project management of DIB Council routines, coordination of high growth job family DIB strategy, planning and successful delivery of DIB related events, etc.

  • Develop compelling narratives to drive alignment with stakeholders across levels and business groups

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Have a track record of successful project management, bringing the ability to quickly establish structures and operating rhythms to drive clarity, focus, and sustain momentum with various programs

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Display understanding and alignment with DIB initiatives

  • Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

  • Ability to leverage logical insights through data analytics (assessment, analysis and reporting) of diversity & inclusion metrics

  • Demonstrate good judgment and sensitivity

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 2 years of experience in a program management role

  • At least 1 year of experience in an HR function, project management, or chief of staff position

  • At least 1 year of experience in Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with agile teams or project management

  • Experience partnering with teams across Enterprise Learning, Communications, or HRBPs

  • PMP or CSM certification

  • Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets and Slides)
