Scope of Work:

Capio Group is looking for an experienced Performance Tester to provide QA/QC services to support teams for enterprise applications, covering end to end test planning, execution, automation, performance engineering, environment/test data coordination, and defect management. Activities will be conducted under client direction using approved tools (e.g., Azure DevOps/Jira/ALM/UFT/LoadRunner Enterprise), with automation on UFT (VBScript), Selenium, and/or Katalon integrated to CI/CD. Performance Tester shall provide per cycle test summary reports, coverage dashboards, and defect metrics (density, leakage, aging) to the client.

The Performance Tester will be responsible for services including but not limited to:

• Validation of system scalability, reliability, and performance under expected and peak workloads.
• Activities will include but not limited to: Performance test planning and workload modeling, Load, stress, endurance, and spike testing, Performance script development, Monitoring system performance metrics, Bottleneck identification and root cause analysis, Performance reporting and tuning recommendations
• Review non-functional requirements, system architecture documentation, and expected system usage volumes to develop performance testing strategies.
• Develop performance test scenarios and workload models representing expected user behavior and transaction volumes.
• Develop and configure performance test scripts using client approved performance testing tools.
• Monitor system performance metrics including response time, throughput, system resource utilization, and transaction success rates.
• Analyze performance testing results to identify system bottlenecks and provide recommendations to improve system performance.
• Support performance test result reviews and provide performance analysis reports to project stakeholders.

Mandatory Experience:

1. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming.
2. Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming must be in a lead Capacity.
3. Must possess a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
4. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing performance testing for *large scale enterprise systems.
   “Large Scale Enterprise System” is defined as an application or integrated system landscape that meets all of the following:
   1. Supports at least 2,500 concurrent users during peak periods, or at least 500,000 registered users and
   2. Processes at least 500,000 transactions or claims per year, or equivalent record/transaction volume across batch and online channels and
   3. Includes a multi-tier architecture spanning at least three of: web/portal, API/services layer, batch processing, and/or mainframe integrations or modern cloud-native services.
5. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in performing performance testing activities, including developing and executing performance test scripts, analyzing results, and reporting findings.
6. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience using performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter or equivalent.
7. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of three (3) years validating APIs and system performance, including response time, throughput, and error rates.
8. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience translating non-functional requirements into performance test scenarios.
9. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience using SQL or similar technologies for test data validation.
10. Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum of three (3) years using test management and defect tracking tools.
11. Must be able to provide a client/user end reference contact information for each applicable project meeting the requirements upon request in the qualification form. In addition, you must be able to submit completed reference forms when requested. Each reference form must be signed by the referenced individual. The reference contact must be a representative of the company for which the project was developed and must have served in a management or supervisory role.

1. At least seven (7) years of cumulative experience performing performance testing for *large scale enterprise systems as defined.
   “Large Scale Enterprise System” is defined as an application or integrated system landscape that meets all of the following:
   1. Supports at least 2,500 concurrent users during peak periods, or at least 500,000 registered users and
   2. Processes at least 500,000 transactions or claims per year, or equivalent record/transaction volume across batch and online channels and
   3. Includes a multi-tier architecture spanning at least three of: web/portal, API/services layer, batch processing, and/or mainframe integrations or modern cloud-native services.
2. Within the last ten (10) years, atleast five (5) or more years of experience in workload modeling, performance monitoring, developing, maintaining, and executing performance test automation scripts for API, mainframe and Web-based applications.
3. Within the last ten (10) years, atleast three (3) years integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
4. Within the last ten (10) years, atleast two (2) years of experience with cloud-based performance testing.
5. Within the last ten (10) years, atleast one (1) of experience supporting public sector or benefit systems meeting defined large scale criteria. Large Scale Enterprise System” is defined as an application or integrated system landscape that meets all of the following:
   1. Supports at least 2,500 concurrent users during peak periods, or at least 500,000 registered users and
   2. Processes at least 500,000 transactions or claims per year, or equivalent record/transaction volume across batch and online channels and
   3. Includes a multi-tier architecture spanning at least three of: web/portal, API/services layer, batch processing, and/or mainframe integrations or modern cloud-native services.
6. Possesses one or more of the below certifications: A copy of the certification must be provided upon request.
   - ISTQB Certified Tester Performance Testing (CT-PT)
   - Open Text LoadRunner Professional Certification
7. Possession of a Master's degree in a Business Administration, IT or Engineering field. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
