Capella Space Internship Program  

We are excited to offer a 10-week in-person internship at Capella Space, running from June 3rd to August 15th. This opportunity provides students with hands-on learning and valuable exposure to the dynamic fields of spacecraft design, manufacturing, and geospatial imagery. Alongside meaningful work, our internships include a variety of social events and experiences designed to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance throughout the summer. About the Role and Team

The electrical engineering team at Capella is responsible for the design and test of the electronics in all of our spacecraft. We help architect the electronics system, and design custom hardware to support that system. We create robust tests to validate our designs to ensure mission success. The EE team is looking for an intern to help us with improving our test robustness and design, thereby improving our mission assurance. 

Role Responsibilities

• Testing printed circuit board assemblies 
• Created more robust testing setup and test plans 
• Designing hardware to support test improvements 

Qualifications

• Currently studying engineering with an emphasis in electronics and software  
• Familiar with design and test of complex circuits 
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail 
• Experience with Python or C is a bonus

Compensation  

• This internship will be a 40-hour a week commitment at the pay of $37.00 per hour. An allowance will also be provided to support living costs throughout the program.
