Job Description-

JD for Sr. Developer- Data & BI

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data/ETL and BI Developer with a strong background in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL Server, AWS PostgreSQL, AWS Glue, ETL tools, and Power BI for reporting and dashboard development, along with knowledge of Control M for Job scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using SQL Server and AWS PostgreSQL.
• Create and optimize Data Pipeline using AWS Glue and other ETL tools to ensure efficient data integration.
• Develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI to support business analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver insights that drive decision-making.
• Utilize Control M for job scheduling and automation of data workflows.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Document database structures, ETL processes, and Power BI reports for future reference and compliance.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in database development and BI reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database development and Power BI reporting, preferably in the banking sector.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and AWS PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS Glue and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
• Strong knowledge of Power BI for report and dashboard development.
• Familiarity with Control M for job scheduling and workflow automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and practices.
• Knowledge of data governance and security regulations in banking.
• Knowledge of Securitization   in the banking industry would be plus
