ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Project Manager to join our Data Change Centre of Excellence. This role will drive the execution of strategic initiatives within the Data & Analytics Office (DAO), ensuring alignment with governance, resilience, and business architecture objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business architecture, data transformation, and large-scale change management within financial institutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage complex data transformation and business architecture projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide business architecture standards and drive standardization across multiple initiatives.
• Collaborate with Business Service Owners, Process Owners, and Product Owners to define and scope change initiatives while safeguarding ongoing service delivery.
• Establish robust project governance in line with Agile and Change Management frameworks.
• Oversee risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and strategic objectives.
• Partner with Scrum Masters to facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Provide senior-level stakeholder management, engaging with leadership to influence decision-making and drive project success.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years of project management experience in large-scale data, migration, or business architecture initiatives within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of financial institutions and experience managing global projects with complex dependencies.
• Expertise in Business Architecture, governance frameworks, and strategic data transformation.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, meeting business case objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management and exceptional communication skills, with experience working across matrix organizations.
• Experience in Agile methodologies (SAFe certification is a plus).
• Familiarity with project management tools and frameworks in financial institutions.
