Job Title: Senior WTX Developer (5.1-7 yrs), Chennai
Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities The Calypso developer will have following responsibilities: • Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with business/users, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes, investigating problem areas and following the best practices in all the aspects of software development lifecycle. • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing technical and functional documents, facilitating internal peer reviews to accomplish high quality of deliverables • Devops implementation and enhancement for Application Build and Deployment • Performance optimization (Profiling Java applications, Oracle database) when required • Responsible for estimations, risks & mitigations and escalations to TL/PM in case of any issues • Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment, steering and participating in technical and functional learning sessions conducted by the organization. • Application L3 Support, Remedy Resolution
Contributing Responsibilities • Communicate ideas and develop strategy through presentations, demonstrations and specifications, supports and develops team members by providing guidance, coaching and knowledge sharing
Technical & Behavioral Competencies Overall Experience: 5 to 8 years Skills:
- Calypso
- Core Java
- Oracle SQL (Mid-level)
- UNIX (Good to have)
- Devops (Good to have)
Specific Qualifications: Hands-On Calypso / Java Backend Development for at least 4 years will be ideal profile for this position Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities) Technical Skills: o Calypso o Core Java o SQL Behavioral Skills: o Ability to deliver / Results driven o Ability to collaborate / Teamwork o Creativity & Innovation / Problem solving o Adaptability Education Level: Master degree or Equal Location: Chennai
