ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Romania and play a key role in the design, implementation, and integration of applications. Your primary focus will be enabling third-party wallets like Google Pay and Apple Pay in our card virtualization process. Additionally, you will help design and implement alternative payment methods via Home'Bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain software programs in line with established coding standards.
• Estimate the duration for programming and unit testing phases to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform thorough unit testing to validate that all components are working as intended.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Work with key technologies: Java, Spring, Apache Camel.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming.
• Proven experience in Java development.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
• Solid knowledge of SOA, RESTful, and SOAP services.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • J2EE/JEE Platform (JAX-WS, JAX-RS)
  • Spring Core, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices.
  • Message brokers (preferably Kafka).
• Experience working in Agile environments with Continuous Delivery best practices.
• A university degree in IT, engineering, or related fields.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with OpenShift and Service Mesh.
• Knowledge of Apache Camel.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies: Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and iterative development processes.
