About the Job:

As a member of our Data Team, you will work across Capco’s different domains and solution offerings to help break down large problems, develop approaches and solutions. As a Data Engineer, you will create analytics reporting and provide data-driven strategic insights, trends, and perspective to help drive transformation for our clients.

• Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant database systems
• Work on implementation of data pipelines/data warehouses/data marts/ODSs/Lakehouses
• Collaborate and work on integration of data storage solutions
• Focus on performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability and automation 

What You’ll Bring with You:

• 4+ years demonstrated experience helping organizations design or implement enterprise Data Systems in the cloud or on premises
  • Proactive mindset; Ability to solve problems and offer actionable insights beyond task level assignments
  • Objective-oriented; able to support clients in designing, developing & implementing data engineering tasks end-to-end. Must be able to think holistically and support clients in understanding the entire scope of their needs 
• Success working in one of several Data Engineering/Management technology areas, including but not limited to:
  • Experience with ELT tools (Talend, DataStage, Matillion, Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc)
  • Experience developing ETL Data Pipelines and Data Model solutions for integrating new data sets into a data platform from different sources.
  • Experience developing real time ETL solutions (Kafka, Kinesis, etc) o Strong knowledge of RDBS systems (Azure SQL Database, Aurora, RDS, Oracle, etc.)
  • Cloud Data Platforms across Azure and/or AWS (Synapse, Redshift, etc.) o Experience building and leveraging Lakehouse solutions (Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, etc.)
  • Data modelling skills for physical and logical data models along with define metadata standards for the DW o Experience writing and supporting Python code, Spark, Scala, R
  • Experience developing Shell scripts and Python programs to automate tasks o Knowledge of BI Solutions (MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, etc.)
