We are growing our team at CalypsoAI and are looking for an ambitious, versatile, and self-driven Full Stack Software Engineer. You’ll be building, testing, and maintaining both frontend and backend applications, as we continue to build out our world first AI security web application, making your role critical for the success of our business.

Technologies we Use

• Backend - Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, uv
• Frontend - Typescript, Vue3, Vite
• Source Control - Gitlab
• Continuous Delivery - ArgoCD for Continuous delivery 
• Deployment - AWS stack (dockerised apps, helm charts, k8s for runtime)

Key Responsibilities 

• Build - Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end applications
• Collaborate - Work alongside other engineers, QA, data science, and product teams to build user-friendly, high-performance software
• Quality - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development
• API Integration - Implement RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Test, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability
• Architect - Design frontend and backend features with focus on best practice architecture and design patterns
• Improve - Make suggestions for better solutions to the problems we face
• Learn - Grown with the evolving nature of the web and its new features

Required Experience

• At least 3 years experience with server-side languages such as Python or Ruby with a server side framework like FastAPI or equivalent
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Typescript and frameworks like Vue3, React or similar.
• Database Knowledge Familiarity with database technology such as Postgres, or MySQL
• Strong ability to debug and troubleshoot software components
• Knowledge of supporting JavaScript tools like Webpack, Vite, CSS Modules
• Working knowledge of modern JavaScript features (ES2015 - ES2025)
