IT - Integration Engineer
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Mission
With expertise in SAP and Oracle ERP systems, the Integration Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions that connect our ERP systems with various manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other software applications. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and cultures to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Integration Development:
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between SAP, Oracle Cloud ERP systems, and various MES and third-party applications.
- Utilize middleware tools (such as CPI, OIC, Data Bricks, .NET Based Integration services) and techniques to facilitate smooth data exchange and communication between disparate systems.
- System Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for integration issues related to SAP and Oracle ERP systems.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of integrations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with global stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective integration solutions.
- Foster strong relationships with users in various locations, understanding their unique needs and cultural considerations.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for integration processes, data flows, and system configurations.
- Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on integration functionalities and best practices.
- Project Management:
- Participate in project planning and execution for ERP integration initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to ERP integration and manufacturing systems.
- Recommend and implement improvements to integration processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience 5 years in systems integration, specifically with SAP and Oracle ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of middleware tools and integration frameworks (CPI, OIC, Azure).
- Experience supporting and enhancing custom .NET and/or Python middleware services used for enterprise integrations, including APIs, data synchronization, and event-driven workflows.
- Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other related software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a global and multicultural environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Flexibility to work across different time zones as needed.
- Certifications in SAP, Oracle, or integration technologies.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
