Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Lead Software Engineer: Jasper R&D to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be part of Jasper Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) team in the System Verification group in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The Jasper Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) team works with the clock and reset domain crossing part of Jasper, a formal verification tool. Job Description: 

• Testing, validating, and deploying enhancements on Jasper software for key customers. 

• Working with Research and Development (R&D) to discuss test results and next steps for Jasper's features. 

• Analyzing and gathering information on Jasper software issues and results for further fixing and improvement.

Requirements:

• Complete Engineering or Computer Science graduate with a BS or MS degree and 5+ years of applicable experience.
• Solid advanced data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Solid Object-oriented programming knowledge.
• Experience in C++ development.
• Experience with Unix environment.
• Great verbal and written communication in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience developing software using version control systems. 

• Experience with scripting environments - either Tcl or Python. 

• Knowledge/Experience with Formal verification and/or simulation. 

• Knowledge/Experience EDA and VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL languages.
