CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Security Engineer to support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in information systems, with a specific focus on application administration in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. The role requires advanced knowledge of configuring systems in accordance with DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and validating STIG compliance at the enterprise level to build, deploy, maintain, and support operations utilizing tools such as SteelCloud ConfigOS for a global deployment of ~50,000 Endpoints.
Responsibilities:
- STIG Configuration and Compliance proficiency.
- Configure systems in accordance with DISA STIG requirements.
- Validate and report STIG compliance across the enterprise.
- Administer and maintain applications on RHEL.
- Develop and debug shell scripts for application management.
- Achieving DISA STIGs compliance with tools such as SteelCloud ConfigOS.
- Work with Hyper-V and Azure to manage servers in virtual and cloud environments.
- Effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance
- 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
- Proficiency in STIG application, review, troubleshooting, validation and compliance
- SteelCloud ConfigOS familiarity
- integrated workflows/automation
- Microsoft Federation Services
- Advanced PowerShell scripting or prior software development experience
- DoD PKI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security tooling challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Understanding of industry compliance standards (e.g., NIST) and relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is advantageous
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging security tools
- Required DoD 8140 compliant certification such as CompTIA Security+

The proposed salary range for this position is:
