About the Role:
We are seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our team and ensure the reliability and quality of our software through robust automated testing. Embedded within the development team, this individual will participate in stand-ups, retrospectives, and team discussions, focusing primarily on integration and end-to-end testing rather than traditional feature development.
The ideal candidate has full-stack programming capabilities and experience with modern testing frameworks. They will be instrumental in testing newly released features while ensuring that their work enhances development velocity rather than creating bottlenecks.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute integration and end-to-end tests.
- Work closely with developers to ensure test coverage across the application stack.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and agile ceremonies as an embedded member of the team.
- Identify and resolve issues in automated test suites to maintain reliability.
- Ensure newly released features are thoroughly tested and validated.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing strategies and overall software quality.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Node.js, PHP, and Laravel.
- Experience with Cypress (preferred) or Selenium.
- Deep understanding of integration and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively without creating process bottlenecks.
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
